About This Chapter
More About Chapter VI
Chapter VI sets out the operating checklist for employers. Compliance is not just policy drafting; it is visibility, training, facilitation, escalation support, and reporting discipline.
Employers must provide a safe working environment, display the penal consequences of sexual harassment and the IC order, organise awareness programmes and committee training, support attendance of parties and witnesses, assist with police complaints where needed, treat sexual harassment as misconduct, and monitor timely submission of reports.
Many inquiry delays trace back to employer-side support failures listed in this chapter. Section 19 should be treated as the standing annual compliance plan.
